Master Belch è uno scagnozzo di Giygas e un antagonista minore di EarthBound, è inoltre il boss della sua omonima base. Sebbene Master Belch abbia una apparenza grossolana, è il responsabile della cattura di vari Mr. Saturn e del rilascio degli zombi a Threed, terrorizzando così l'intera popolazione.[1] Il suo cibo preferito è il Fly Honey, ottenuto da una precende battaglia contro il Boogey Tent. Se questo oggetto verrà utilizzato in battaglia, inizierà a mangiarlo senza combattere contro il gruppo. Così facendo verrà aperta la strada verso il Milky Well a Saturn Valley. Master Belch riapparirà più avanti nuovamente come un boss a Deep Darkness, rinominandosi Master Barf. La forseta ha anche vari Big Pile of Puke, che sembra essere una ricolorazione dello sprite di Master Belch. Il suo rutto è doppiato da Hirozaku Koyano.[2]

"Belch's weakness for Fly Honey is legendary. After beating the Tent in Threed, you can find a jar of this stuff. Feed it to Belch right at the start of the fight. After a round or two, Belch will go nuts for the Honey and forget about attacking you. Keep battling him with your strongest attacks."
